ITAA California Convention (CAC) 2025

The first ITAA California Convention (CAC 1) took place from October 11th-13th, 2025. Six fellows from across the state spent the weekend in a slightly haunted mansion on a vineyard. We had daily meetings, meaningful meditations, soaked up the sun at the beach, talked about our feels, and played board games. Stay tuned for the sequel— CAC 2 in 2026!

ITAA North American Convention 2024

The second North American Convention (NAC) took place on September 27-29, 2024 at a rural retreat center in Maryland – a beautiful scenic farm and gathering place with the mantra “disconnect to connect.” Over 80 members attended in-person from near and far, including Hungary, the UK, Canada, Arizona, Illinois, Ohio, Colorado, North Carolina, California, Washington state, Washington DC, and from all over the northeastern U.S.

The event almost doubled last year’s attendance, breaking the record for the largest in-person gathering in ITAA history. It was additionally widely attended virtually during the four hybrid events broadcasted to the ITAA website, recordings of which can be found on the İyileşme Hikayeleri page. We enjoyed three fellowship-packed days, with a wide array of events including speaker meetings, panels, workshops with topics ranging from working steps, to using art to gain abstinence, to creating healthy in-person meetings, an open mic night, and group top-line participation including gatherings for meditation, 2-way prayer, and running. We shared food, laughs, and friendship, forging deeper connections that remain integral to our recovery journeys long after the weekend’s closing.
