At the most recent International Service Meeting (ISM), the fellowship passed a motion asking the “ITAA Community” WhatsApp group to remove “ITAA” from its name, due to harmful practices affecting other groups and the fellowship as a whole; the ISM also recommends that ITAA meetings discourage members from sharing invitations to the ITAA Community, and that groups operating within it establish their own independent service structures, as continuing to use the ITAA name creates confusion around accountability and implies an official affiliation that does not exist.
