A new Open Path Step Workshop will begin on Monday, November 9th at 10:30am US Eastern Time.

Help shape ITAA’s new Representative Service Committee!The committee must include four Group Service Representatives (GSRs) and is open to all members. To join as a GSR or individual member, please email itaa.rsc@gmail.com.The first meeting will be the weekend of November 28th. This gives time for groups to elect GSRs or co-GSRs and for participants to coordinate a time. We encourage all groups to elect GSRs, even if not joining the committee — we will occasionally seek feedback from all groups through their GSRs.

On Sunday November 1st, the US will exit Daylight Saving Time. The ITAA calendar follows this shift, so if you are not in the US, your meeting times may change over the next few weeks.

At our upcoming ISMs on November 15th and December 19th, we will discuss and vote on changing the language of Tradition Eight to use the phrase “service groups” instead of “service bodies”. The updated language would read: “While our service groups may employ qualified workers, the act of one member helping another ought never be compensated, ensuring that ITAA remains forever nonprofessional.” Please discuss in your groups, send GSRs to the ISMs, and consider attending the ISMs yourself to participate.
